Race for the Cure

Some snapshots from Race for the Cure. My husband, daughter and I ran the race yesterday. It was soooooo much fun! Over 13,000 participants running through downtown Birmingham for a wonderful cause! The weather was perfect for a race, the course was awesome and there was great entertainment before and after the race, great crowds cheering us on, as well as good and healthy snacks for post race that my kid really enjoyed. This is my daughter's second year participating, and just like last year, when she was just 3 months old, she did really well and seemed to really enjoy the energy of the crowd, music, snacks and pink decorations all over the streets!

It was very emotional to see so many people that have been affected by this disease come together to put an end to it and find a cure!
